This past Saturday, June 25th, Two of our athletes represented our dojo and the Summer Games of Michigan. Hannah Eid and Nicholas Wegner competed in Nage No Kata where they both won gold medals. Also, in there individual category Eid had a round robin competition where he won 2 matches out of 4 matches and winning the bronze medal in -81kg novice. Wegner won the silver medal in -73kg novice winning 3 matches out 4. All were won by ippon with a few seconds of sasae throwing!

Congratulations to both for qualifying to the Nationals Summer Games in Iowa taking place this month!

Our student‘s parents do so much for our club and their kids. that love and support will stay with these kids forever. I’m glad we have such a group of people coming together and we at SBJC are so thankful.
